Yachting Collection

The Connecticut River developed as a yachting center beginning in the 1890's and its sheltered waters continue to attract sailors to dozens of marinas between Saybrook and Hartford. The Yachting Collection includes full models, trophies, burgees, boat plans, some accoutrements, and most importantly, the half-model collection of yacht designer Ernest N. Way. Some associated material may be found in the library collections.
