Group tour rates require a minimum of 15 people with
advance reservations.
River Exploration Self-Guided Tour
$6 $6 per person. Explore the museum independently and enjoy
four galleries, the museum gift shop and waterfront grounds.
River Highlights Guided Exhibit Tour
$8 per person. Your group may choose from either a one hour
guided Highlights Tour of the Museum galleries and grounds
O OR an in-depth tour of a special exhibition (please call or check
this website for our current offerings).
River Discovery Guided Exhibit Tour & River Cruise
$2 $28 per person. This program includes the activities in the River
Highlights tour combined with a guided boat cruise along the
Connecticut River. $23 per person for groups of 30 or more.
Essex Exploration Guided Exhibit Tour
& Village Walking Tour
$ $14 per person. Enjoy all the activities of the River Highlights
tour along with a guided Walking Tour exploring the history and
architecture of beautiful Essex Village. Add a River Cruise tour,
if desired, for an additional fee of $20 per person (additional fee
$15 per person for groups of 30 or more) .
Your Connecticut River Experience Guided Custom Tour
Do Does your group have a special interest? Do you want to get
beyond a traditional tour? We can customize your experience
based on a theme or special interest such as colonial history,
shipbuilding along the River, the Revolutionary War Turtle
submarine, the ecology of the Connecticut River, birds of the
Connecticut River, specialty schooner cruises, murder mystery
evenings and more. Fee per person is dependent on program
content.

Cho Choices include a full-service meal at the historic Griswold Inn or
delicious box lunches to be enjoyed on our grounds or on
a a River cruise.
